This database is freely available to the general public via the Internet.

Description

OpenDOAR is an authoritative directory of academic open access repositories. Each of these repositories collects, preserves and disseminates the intellectual output of an institution via the Internet. Materials in a given repository can contain virtually any electronic file including article pre-prints and post-prints; theses and dissertations; course notes; data and image collections; technical reports; and working documents. Note that our UB Institutional Repository (UBIR), managed by the University Libraries, is listed. All UB-affiliated persons can deposit data, working papers, pre-prints and publications (subject to one's author agreement and copyright terms).

To search for content across multiple open access repositories, try CORE.

There is a browsable list of repositories arranged by regions and countries. You can also search OpenDOAR by repository name and view statistics of repository countries of origin and platforms.
