Description

Maintained by the Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the National Academies, TRID is the largest and most comprehensive database on transportation research. It covers all modes and disciplines of transportation and contains over a million records with references to books, technical reports, conference proceedings and journals articles, over 110,000 of which contain links to full-text documents. Modes of transportation covered include highways, transit, railroads, maritime, aviation, pipelines, pedestrian, and bicycles. Disciplines covered include planning, finance, design, construction, materials, environmental issues, safety and human factors, and operations.

Dates Covered

Varies, but as far back as 1923.
