Description

WorldCat represents a “collective collection” of the world’s libraries, built through the contributions of librarians, expanded and enhanced through individual, regional and national programs.  FirstSearch WorldCat allows library users to discover hundreds of millions of resources, including books, ebooks, periodicals, government documents, manuscripts, maps, audiovisual materials, music scores, and collections of digital items. Any items not owned by the UB Libraries can be requested through our Delivery+ Service. FirstSearch access to WorldCat offers a more traditional catalog search and offers advanced features that include full record view, focused indexes, complex Boolean functionality, command searching, and alphabetical browsing.
