Description
The Native Health Database provides a high-quality source of health information for indigenous peoples in North America. An initiative of the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Library & Informatics Center and the Indian Health Service, the database began as a Native Health history database which subsequently merged with the Native Health research database, and is the only database indexed and searchable by tribe. Additional limits include region, state/province, and document type. Entries include abstracts and, where available, links to full text, dating from 1652 to the present. Users may use and download content anonymously or free registration offers additional benefits including compiling resources into personal collections that may be grouped together and designated public for sharing purposes.
