New Users must set up an account. This is not optional.  Instructions are below for registering both off-campus and on-campus. 

OFF-CAMPUS REGISTRATION

To access the registration site, you must be a current authorized UB faculty, student or staff member and have a UBIT name and password. 

YOU MAY RECEIVE AN ERROR MESSAGE AT THIS STEP!  Here is how to resolve the error:

• Go to the UB Libraries page "Off-Campus Access for Library Resources"
• Scroll down to the section titled "Proxy Marker Bookmarklet" and follow the instructions for your browser.
• Try to access the SciFinder-n Registration Site again. When you receive the error, click your new bookmarklet.
• You should now be on the registration page.
