This database is freely available to the general public via the Internet.
Note that there is a limit of 100 answers per search, so it is recommended that you make your search as specific as possible.
A freely available directory to over 175,000 current and discontinued scientific and technical serial and non-serial titles worldwide including journals, online preprint servers, conference proceedings, patent document series, meeting publications, and monographs containing collections of papers. The entries can be searched by title words, abbreviations, ISSN, ISBN, and CODEN. Both substrings (parts of words) and exact searching are possible. Note that wildcard (truncation or word stemming) and Boolean search operators (and, or, not) are not supported.
Produced by Chemical Abstracts Service and based on materials indexed in SciFinder, CASSI is an invaluable tool to decipher and verify journal title histories including mergers and splits, abbreviations, and dates of publication. Note this is a directory to serial/periodical titles and contains no records for individual articles appearing in these titles.
