Database Access

Some UB Libraries resources, including those marked UB Only, are provided for academic research to University at Buffalo faculty, students and staff only and require a login when accessed from off the UB computing network.

Off-campus users will be routed to the requested resource through the EZproxy software when a resource requires authentication. When prompted, enter your UBIT name and password. See https://library.buffalo.edu/off-campus/ for more information and troubleshooting help.

If you are having trouble accessing Business Source Complete, or any UB database, two good first steps are to switch to a new browser and/or clear your internet cookies. This tends to resolved a number of connection issues.

Accessing UB Library Materials

UB Libraries is open to UB faculty, staff and students. Find hours and addition information here. Can't make it to campus? We are also able to ship physical materials to your home address. Please fill out a Delivery+ request to begin this process.

Reference service is available at the Lockwood Reference Desk during these hours (the Lockwood Reference desk is located just past the public elevators on the main floor of Lockwood).Other ways to contact a librarian include:
