HUBNET (Hospitals and University at Buffalo Library Resources Network) is a collaborative project sponsored by the Library Consortium of Health Institutions in Buffalo (LCHIB). Since 1993, the network has featured an array of electronic information resources in support of patient care, biomedical research, consumer health and educational programs at the University at Buffalo, area teaching hospitals and healthcare organizations throughout Western New York. Includes health-related full-text resources and bibliographic databases such as:
- UpToDate (not accessible remotely unless you create an account from a site with UpToDate Anywhere)
- Ovid MEDLINE
- Nursing Reference Center Plus
- Evidence-Based Medicine Reviews
The menu will change depending on where you are accessing HUBNET. If you want to access the UB menu off campus, create a new account using your UBIT information and select UB as your affiliation. Go to “create an account” at the bottom of the left column while you are off site. For security reasons, you must use your UB user name and UB email address.
