VaXWNY Research Consortium Guide: Retail Pharmacy Vaccination Capacity
Assessment of Retail Pharmacy Vaccination Capacity
Retail pharmacies are currently being utilized to vaccinate individuals 60 years of age and over. The capacity to vaccinate these individuals is presently limited as a function of vaccine availability. As the amount of vaccine increases other factors that determine a pharmacies ability to safely, efficiently and equitably vaccinate other populations need to be identified. The student will work with their supervisor to identify and remove barriers that limit capacity.
Information on these topics is likely to change often. It will be updated frequently, but be advised checking directly with state websites for the most recent information.
