Description
KCI-Korean Journal Database indexes over 2,300 high quality research journals from South Korea. All disciplines and both subscription and open access journals are represented. There is a mix of open access (free-to-read) and subscription full-text articles. Both citing and cited papers can be searched. Data in KCI - Korean Journal Database is supplied by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF). Approximately 100,000 records are added each year.
Approximately 72% of the articles are in English and 28% in Korean. Of the 2,300 journals indexed, about 2,100 of them are not covered in the Web of Science Core Collection or any other Web of Science database. As a component database of on the Web of Science platform, KCI can searched simultaneously along with all other databases on that platform by choosing the “All Databases” from a drop down menu on the search screen.
