This database is freely available to the general public via the Internet.

Description

The Civil Engineering Database (CEDB) is a free bibliographic database offering over 200,000 records of all publications by the American Society of Civil Engineers. It provides bibliographic access to references plus short abtracts for these publications.

In addition, the UB community can access the full text articles in selected ASCE journals published for selected years.

Engineering subject areas covered include: aerospace engineering, architectural engineering, bridges and highways, cold regions, construction, earthquake engineering, environmental engineering, forensic engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydrology and hydraulics, irrigation and drainage, management, materials engineering, port, coastal and ocean engineering, structural engineering, transportation, urban planning, water resources.

Leads to citations plus abstracts to conference papers, books, standards, and manuals as well as full text for articles in journals published by ASCE for selected years for UB affiliates.

1973 to the present. Updated quarterly at the end of each month.
