Remote access to this resource requires a UBITName and password.

The University Libraries hold over 10,000 books on this platform. A significant number are about business or health science topics.

Nearly 3,000 titles are findable through a simple catalog search, while all are available through the eBook Collection (EBSCOhost) portal. The interface is the same as that used for all EBSCO databases. Most titles are single user only, so when a title is in use it can be neither used nor borrowed by another user. Most books in the collection can be downloaded; but a limited number of titles are only available to view online.

To download a book one must create a My EBSCOhost account and have Adobe Digital Editions installed on his/her computer. Loan periods for some titles vary and may be selected by the reader. 

Downloaded books (or only downloaded pages from books) may be transferred to and read on various devices, see the very useful EBSCO eBooks help page and their FAQ on sending eBook pages to a Kindle

Users may view books using the BlueFire app.

Most included titles are not available in print in the UB Libraries; to check for those that are, use the University Libraries catalog.
