About the Cookbook

"Flavors of Unity: A Library of Recipes" is a community-sourced digital cookbook celebrating the diversity within the university community by bringing together a collection of recipes that reflect the unique culinary traditions and stories of students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
 

Please submit your recipe using the form below. We're looking for recipes in any category – appetizers, entrees, soups, salads, side dishes, desserts, drinks – all are welcome. The university welcomes recipes from all cuisines and backgrounds, and contributors are encouraged to share the stories behind their dishes, adding a personal touch to the collection. 
 

Submissions will remain open throughout the Spring 2024 semester, with a book launch taking place in November 2024, during International Education Week.

2. Who can contribute to the cookbook?

The cookbook is open to contributions from all members of the university community, including students, alumni, faculty, and staff.

Absolutely! We encourage you to share as many recipes as you'd like. Each recipe is a valuable addition to our diverse collection.

The university welcomes recipes from all cuisines and backgrounds. Whether it's a family favorite, a cultural dish, something quick and easy, or something for a special occasion. We want to showcase the variety of tastes within our community. Contributors are encouraged to share the stories behind their dishes, adding a personal touch to the collection. 

5. How will the recipes be selected for inclusion?

All submitted recipes will be reviewed by our editorial team for clarity, completeness, and uniqueness. We aim to include a diverse range of recipes that is representative of all members of our campus community.

6. Will contributors be credited in the cookbook?

Yes, absolutely! Contributors will be credited for their recipes. You can choose to include your name, a nickname, or remain anonymous. It's up to you!

7. When will the cookbook be available?

We are aiming to release the cookbook November 2024. Stay tuned for updates on this page and our social media channels.

8. How can I get a copy of the cookbook?

Once the cookbook is published, it will be available for free on our library website.

9. Can I share the cookbook with friends and family?

Absolutely! As an Open-Source cookbook, we encourage you to share the cookbook with your friends, family, and anyone interested in exploring the culinary talents of our university community.
