Search tips
- When looking at your home country, try conducting a Google search, use the phrase site: to limit your search to specific sites or domains.
- For example: site:.gov.lv and agriculture and Latvia will return only webpages from the government of Latvia with specified keywords (Agriculture of Latvia 2023 and other official government results).
- Search for reports published by international organizations that specifically mention agricultural production and/or your chosen product.
- Use a website, article, or report to find additional information. Are there other statistics cited in the report? Is the page or article part of a larger website?
- Pay attention to the author(s) and/or partners of the publications. What organizations and people are involved?
- Don't forget to check out the library resources at your own universities. You may be able to access additional industry/market reports, articles, and statistics.

- World Bank Open DataFree and open access to global development data including GDP, population statistics, and other pertinent economic data sets.
- National Statistical OfficesLinks to countries' national statistics offices. Helpful for exploring data on a particular country.
