JoVE College Ready STEM Partnership

Through the University at Buffalo Libraries’ JoVE Unlimited subscription, JoVE is granting access to all of their content, including the JoVE Science Education Library, to high schools administered by public school districts in Erie County. This incredible resource is available to these public schools at no additional cost to the schools, faculty, or students!

You may have questions on how to gain access to the JoVE Science Education Library at your school. Below are some of the most common questions we receive.

Q: Is my school eligible to receive access?

A: As part of our pilot program, UB Libraries is able to offer free access only to high schools administered by public school districts in Erie County. Private and charter schools may contact JoVE (k12customersuccess@jove.com) for further details beyond the pilot program.

Q: What do I need to do if I want access?

A: Contact JoVE directly at k12customersuccess@jove.com from your school email account to set up access. You will need to provide your school district name (to confirm you are eligible), along with your school's IP range.

Q: Do we have access to all of the content from JoVE?

A: Yes! The JoVE College Ready STEM Partnership program provides schools access to all of JoVE's content. The Science Education Library and the JoVE Core: Bio video textbook are the central offerings for schools, but all of their peer-reviewed content is available as well.

Q: Do you have any literature I can share with my faculty/staff/administration to tell them about JoVE Science Education?

A: We absolutely do! A PDF Fact Sheet is available.

Q: I need assistance with using the tool? Can I receive help? Or a demonstration?

A: Absolutely! One of the other wonderful representatives from JoVE, is happy to assist with product help and demonstrations.
