PEDro is an evidence-based database containing abstracts to clinical practice guidelines, randomized controlled trials, and systematic reviews with content relevant to physical therapy. PEDro’s content is added from systematic searches of databases such as Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, PubMed, CINAHL,  EMBASE, and others.

Trials are rated according to the PEDro scale https://www.pedro.org.au/english/downloads/pedro-scale/ for study methodology such as randomization, concealed allocation, single blinding, double blinding, and others.
