Description

RILM (Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale) provides indexing and English-language abstracts for music scholarship originating in over 100 countries and languages. Index entries include titles in the original language and English translation, citations and abstracts in English, and RILM subjects and keywords in English. Content includes links to immediately available full-text of some articles or links to Delivery+.

Types of publications include scholarly journals, periodicals, book chapters, conference proceedings, bibliographies, catalogues, dissertations, Festschriften, iconographies, critical commentaries to complete works, ethnographic recordings and videos, and reviews.

In addition to music journals and publications, the interdisciplinary context includes disciplines such as anthropology, archaeology, architecture, art history, dance studies, dramatic arts, librarianship, literature, pedagogy, philosophy, physics, psychology, sociology, and therapy.
