Description

Science Online provides electronic access to the full-text of Science magazine, Science Advances, Science Signaling, Science Translational Medicine, and related resources. Science magazine is one of the most prestigious scientific journals and is published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Cutting edge research appearing in this journal is often cited in various media reports.

Searching Tips: The home page provides a single, simple search box. However, the Advanced Search page permits searching specific fields like author, title, or specific citation as well as many limit options. Since one is searching a single publication, search queries do not necessarily need to be highly specific. The asterisk (*) can be used to pick up all extensions of a root word. Unfortunately, AAAS restricts the description of the search engine to AAAS members.

The UB Libraries maintains a university-wide license to all Science Online components except the Science Robotics, Science Immunology, and Science Express in-advance-of-publication service. Various pages on the web site are limited to AAAS members only.
