UB Libraries Summer Reading Stampede
Welcome to the UB Libraries' first ever summer reading program: the Summer Reading Stampede!
The goal of the Summer Reading Stampede is for participants to continue to engage with reading, libraries, and literacy over the summer.
To take part in the Summer Reading Stampede, you'll complete 5 challenges across various themes relating to libraries and library communities and document these challenges on our Summer Reading Stampede challenge board. The challenge is open to students, faculty, and staff.
Once you have completed five challenges, one in each category, your board is complete and can be submitted at Lockwood or Abbott Library during the first week of the fall semester, between Monday 8/25 and Friday 8/29. Anyone who turns in a completed challenge board will earn a swag bag from the UB Libraries and student participants will be entered into a drawing to receive a gift card to a local bookstore. Participants must be able to pick up their prize(s) in person.
If you have any questions about the challenge, please email Mary Kamela, Student Support and Engagement Librarian, at mkamela@buffalo.edu.
Happy Reading!
