What is the UB Searching scavenger hunt?
It's a game which participants search and find answers to UB Libraries-themed questions.
Is it free to enter?
Yes! No cost to enter.
How many people can be on my team?
Up to four people, but you can also play by yourself!
When is it?
The UB Searching scavenger hunt will run from Monday, October 16, 2023 - Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
When do I sign up?
Sign-ups open October 2nd, but you can enter any time through the month of October—feel free to catch up on challenges you've missed!

Are there prizes?
Win up to $100 in gift cards to Tops, Wegmans, Starbucks, or the bookstore!

Where do I find the challenge questions?
The scavenger hunt will run from Monday, October 16, 2023 - Tuesday, October 31, 2023, with new challenge questions posted every week here on the UB Searching 2023 research guide. Scores will be updated weekly as well, so you can visit this guide to see how your team is doing. You can do the challenges week by week, or you can do them all at once at the end—it's up to you!
