The United States Pharmacopeia-National Formulary (USP-NF) is a combination of the two compendia containing standards for medicines, dosage forms, drug substances, excipients, biologics, compounded preparations, medical devices, dietary supplements, and other therapeutics.

As a member of the UB community, free access to USP-ND is available after you have created a USP Access Point account.

How to Get Started

1. Create a USP Access Point account using your UB email.
2. On the registration page, when asked for a "subscription key", leave the answer blank.
3. Check your UB email for a verification link to complete the registration process. 
4. An additional video tutorial is available if you are having trouble navigating Access Point.

The USP–NF is updated three times a year in November, February, and June.
