Factiva is a powerful database that provides access to over 32,000 sources from 200 countries, in 28 languages. With Factiva, researchers can search daily newspapers, magazines, journals, newswires, and trade publications, and it is especially useful when researching current information on companies, industries and financial markets.
Frequently requested publications include the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), New York Times, and Buffalo Business First.
Accessing Factiva
Access Factiva through UB Libraries at https://research.lib.buffalo.edu/factiva.
Off-campus access requires your UBIT name and password.
Newsstand - Current News
On the Factiva homepage, use the Newsstand to browse the last two weeks of front pages of major publications and navigate to major topics or sections within a specific publication. The drop downs under each newspaper title allow for quick navigation to specific sections and/or past dates.
