UB Faculty Libraries' Orientation: Library Resources

Last Updated: Jan 4, 2021 11:20 AM

Everything Search

The Everything search engine provides a Google-like experience, allowing researchers to use one search box to discover reliable library content. The default search now features Everything UB, both print and online materials held by the UB Libraries; the search can be expanded to other SUNY campuses by selecting "Everything UB/SUNY" from the dropdown menu instead.

Endnote Software

The University at Buffalo Libraries are providing EndNote™ citation management software to UB's academic community. The UB site license for EndNote™ is funded by the University at Buffalo Libraries, with partial support from the Technology Fee.

New Additions

Browse the newest books and ebooks that have recently been added to the UB Libraries collections.

Research Guides by Subject

For more specific resources, organized by subject matter, please use our Research Guides, which are developed by UB subject librarians. These websites provide information on print and online research resources.

Streaming Media

The University at Buffalo Libraries has secured the licensing to stream hundreds of titles directly from the library catalog as well as in several different databases. For more information, please refer to Streaming Media in the UB Libraries.

If you need access to A/V (Audio Visual) materials, please contact Michael Kankiewicz, Head of Multimedia Collections, to determine if the material is available via streaming.
