The New York State Children’s Environmental Health Center compiled this site “to help healthcare providers and the public understand why climate change is another form of environmental racism that unfairly affects the health of low-income and black and brown communities more than others.” These efforts provide non-medical and non-technical overviews of the critical environmental health issues which children face in greenhouse gas-constrained settings: Extreme heat, Outdoor Air Pollution, Flooding, Mosquito-borne and Tick-borne Disease, and Diarrheal Disease.

ClimateCheck developed a risk analysis tool for real estate information, and how changing climatic conditions are affecting individuals and communities in New York. The user enters an address for local (community) and property-specific climatic parameters for temperature (heat), precipitation, drought, wildfire, and flood risks.

The Accelerator is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization plays a critical, and substantial role in launching and accelerating efforts to address climate change throughout the nine-county Genesee-Finger Lakes Region.

In order to avert the worst effects of climate change, Environmental Advocates NY is at the forefront of taking action to fight climate change and advocating for policies that transition our economy off fossil fuels. An important cornerstone of their climate work is to fight for climate justice and promote policies that will uplift those most vulnerable to climate change impacts.

There is no date for issuing the final report, but is expected to be in 2025.
