Climate Change and Child Health in New York StateThe New York State Children’s Environmental Health Center compiled this site “to help healthcare providers and the public understand why climate change is another form of environmental racism that unfairly affects the health of low-income and black and brown communities more than others.” These efforts provide non-medical and non-technical overviews of the critical environmental health issues which children face in greenhouse gas-constrained settings: Extreme heat, Outdoor Air Pollution, Flooding, Mosquito-borne and Tick-borne Disease, and Diarrheal Disease.
