About the Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence

For over thirty years, the University Libraries have partnered with the UB School of Architecture & Planning and the Bruner Foundation to create and maintain the Rudy Bruner Award Digital Archive, a repository documenting the history of urban placemaking in the continental United States. The Bruner Awards recognized innovative thinking and excellence in urban design achieved through community collaboration.

About the Rudy Bruner Award collection

The new Rudy Bruner Award Collection serves as a key resource for architecture students, practitioners and community members, providing an opportunity to study transformative urban design projects and their impact on communities over time. The collection provides access to award-winning and fully documented urban design case studies from 1987 to 2019.
