H5P is an abbreviation for HTML5 Package, and aims to make it easy for everyone to create, share and reuse interactive HTML5 content. Interactive videos, interactive presentations, quizzes, interactive timelines and more have been developed and shared using H5P on H5P.org

The H5P Content tab is where you can create new H5P activities and manage activities that you created previously.

Select the "Add New" option to add a new H5P content type or to create a new H5P exercise. After selecting the content type you want to try and selecting "Create," try making your H5P exercise.

Once you've created your quiz, copy the shortcode indicated in the top right "Shortcode" section. Paste the shortcode into your chapter where you want your quiz to appear.

Your H5P exercise will render in the online version of your book.

In exports, placeholder text will tell readers there is an interactive exercise there, and that they can interact with it in the online version of the book.
