- National Institute of Mental HealthOffers information on specific mental health topics. Provides statistics and research, free brochures and fact sheets, clinical trials, and resources for help.
- National Center for Complementary and Integrative HealthUnder Health Info, Choose Topics A-Z to locate information on the mental health topic of interest. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health is an agency of National Institutes of Health, and provides authoritative information about complementary and alternative medicine.

- Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services AdministrationPart of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, SAMHSA's mission is to promote public health through substance abuse prevention and intervention. The site provides directories for help and treatment including for suicide prevention, opioid treatment, and other behavioral health services.
Local Resources
- Crisis ServicesProviding 24-hour crisis hotlines for mental health, suicide prevention, addiction, domestic violence, sexual assault, rape, and trauma. Services are free, immediate, and confidential. Also provides translation for non-English speakers and services for the hearing impaired.
