MT 892 .L46 E4This book was written by a singer (soprano) and offers her interpretations of the cycles as whole works. This is an older book, written in 1945, and offers suggestions for dramatic interpretations and moods rather than technical advice. It discusses standards by Schubert, Ravel, Schumann, and others.
