Great Lakes Essential Resources: Environment
The Great Lakes contain the largest supply of freshwater on the globe. However, the lakes themselves and the ecoregion are impacted by a number of environmental crises including climate change, invasive species, overfishing and pollution. These pages collect resources related to each of these issues, as well as the geological history and formation of the Lakes.
